Tempe is where the documentation of Phoenix started. I was in a photo-documentation class, and the first assignment was to photograph Mill. I have gone back many times since. A street you are assigned once has a way of becoming a street you keep.
The Electric Light Parade and some of the other Christmas events that happen here live with the holiday pictures — you will also see them from Glendale. This page is Tempe in ordinary light, and the returns to Mill.
