Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument sits on the Arizona–Mexico border. The park takes its name from the organ pipe cactus, which reaches its northern limit here — the only place in the United States you find them in this kind of stand. Spring is an excellent time to visit. If the winter and spring rains have been abundant, the park is a spectacle of desert wildflower. Many of these images were made in those wet years.
This is still a working portfolio. More prints will join it as they come off the enlarger. Until then, what is here is the monument as I have been able to stand in it.
